In May 2014, the Computational Sustainability Unit (CSU) was established at the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pavia.
The CSU is a multidisciplinary research unit that brings together the contribution of teachers and staff of the University of Pavia, the business world and freelancers working on sustainability issues.
The CSU has been developing research and teaching activity since 2014 in applying computer science knowledge on environmental and social sustainability.
